Calcium Tissue Salts

We are probably familiar with the importance of calcium for bone health, and there are a plethora of dietary sources as well as supplements to support our daily intake. Today we’re diving into how Calcium Tissue Salts may be the secret weapon to activate calcium on a cellular level, and can be implemented safely and effectively to address a multitude of health concerns. Whether you’re a healthcare professional or simply looking for natural ways to improve your health, this guide is for you.

What Are Calcium Tissue Salts?

Calcium Tissue Salts, also known as cell salts or biochemic salts, are minerals in a microdose form that play a crucial role in the body’s cellular function. Developed by Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schüßler in the 19th century, these salts are believed to support the body’s self-healing processes by replenishing mineral deficiencies at the cellular level.

How Calcium Tissue Salts Work:

Calcium tissue salts act by restoring cellular equilibrium. They are prepared via serial dilution and succussion (vigorous shaking), which increases their bioavailability and efficacy. These salts are absorbed directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system, which makes them highly efficient in delivering their benefits.

Benefits of Calcium Tissue Salts

1. Bone Health:

Prevention and Treatment of Bone Disease in Pediatric Dialysis Patients – Calcium salts are widely used to bind dietary phosphorus and maintain normal calcium levels in children undergoing dialysis. Studies have shown that calcium acetate, due to its better solubility compared to calcium carbonate, is more effective in binding dietary phosphorus, thus supporting bone health in pediatric patients [4].

2. Skin Health:

Calc Fluor and Calc Sulph are excellent for promoting healthy skin. Calc. Fluor is excellent for chapped skin, fissures around the nails, the lips, the heels, in the palm of the hand and in eczemas where the skin weeps, hardens and cracks. Often when scars form and remain prominent, Calc. Fluor. can be taken with Silica. They can also be made into a cream six – tablets of each, crushed and finely mixed in ½ cup of aqueous cream. Add two teaspoons of vitamin E oil and one tablespoon almond oil and blend everything together well [5].

3. Dental Health:

Calc Phos is known for its role in dental health. It helps in the formation of strong teeth and can alleviate dental pain and sensitivity. A clinical review in the International Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry supports its use in managing dental issues in children [6].

4. Wound Healing:

Calc Sulph is effective in speeding up the healing process of wounds and abscesses. A study found that Calc Sulph can enhance the healing of chronic wounds by promoting cellular regeneration and reducing inflammation [7].

5. Varicose Veins and Hemorrhoids:

Calc Fluor can help strengthen and improve the elasticity of the veins, reducing the risk of varicose veins and their associated symptoms. By enhancing the elasticity of the connective tissues, Calc Fluor can help reduce the severity and frequency of hemorrhoids [8].
